Online annoyances at Windows Live Spaces

I first started this blog years ago, experimenting with Windows Live Spaces after I noticed its similarities to Microsoft SharePoint.  I wasn’t expecting a lot of visitors.  When I did seem to attract readers, it wasn’t always of the useful kind.  Maybe I haven’t extended my "network" as far as I have on Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter but this service seems a bit lame.  I’d like to see Microsoft make better efforts at weeding out the idiots and do-no-goods who ruin the online experience for others.

Some are innocent misuses of guest book entries; some are intentional with goals to advertise some product or service.

One thing that bugs me is the persistent blog "comments" that appear as some unintelligible language, font and purpose except to post an obscure link for unwary readers to follow.

Get a life, you jerks.  Stop trying to prove something that you can mess up another’s online experiences, push your crappy products, services or ideologies on people.

Go read a book.
