So PayPal has backed down from their attempt at censoring publishers and independent artists.
I am particularly happy since Smashwords is the publisher for the ebook version of The Year of the Rabbit, a novel about Fate, Family and Forgiveness. This book contains content considered unsuitable for young readers 17 and under, and which may be offensive to some readers of all ages. Even though erotica isn’t my cup of tea, I see no harm if people are able to purchase art that tickles their fancy – as long as nobody was harmed in the process. It’s not like they’re buying weapons. Give me the freedom to bare arms … and legs and torso – all while enjoying the power and creativity of the written word.
If you’re feeling happy and generous, do drop by YouTube for a little distraction and watch Geneva’s tail chase video. We’re trying to get up to 300 views by next weekend. More LIKES would be purrfectly nice too!
If you’re more of a word man or a font gal, may I tease you into reading a few excerpts from the novel?
If you are interested after reading those draft excerpts, drop by the novel’s Smashwords page and download 20% for FREE.
If you’re curious to read the entire ebook, buy a copy! If you can’t afford the $3.99 US price, watch this page for coupon codes that Flo will post when she’s feeling generous.
Thanks for dropping by … and for making the kitteh dance. She could use a little stimulation and exercise.
