Curl up with a good … eBook?

Well, old man winter is still lingering in Eastern Ontario.

I ventured out with one of the young folk for provisions today.  It was cold and fresh.   The sun was shining. We came upon this park bench nearly covered with snow. I just had to dig my new handy smart phone out of my purse and take a picture.

It was a beautiful, simple scene.  It was also sadly symbolic of what most of my family and friends are presently feeling.

What can one do to get through the next few weeks?  What if you can’t afford to frolic in the tropics or go skiing in the Alps?

How about escaping under a warm throw and curling up with a good book?  How about curling up with an eBook?  Yeah, it’s not as appealing but I’m sure one can manage.  I think this would be even more appealing if the eBook was free.

Curling up with a cat is optional.

It’s Read an eBook week over at Smashwords.  This is a good opportunity to explore, discover and sample works by independent authors.

Come visit my other blog where you can learn a bit more about my pretentious novel. It would warm my heart if more people read it and offered ratings or reviews.

Thanks for dropping by and not waking the Tabby.
