Do you remember that first love from your teenaged years?
Do you recall those firm-bodied, cuddly times while fanning a distant spark or have you suppressed memories only to be used as a cautionary tale?
Would you be tickled pink or a little creeped out if your first love found you through a persistent online search?
I was.
If the opportunity to meet your old flame during vacation travel coincidentally arose, would you nervously welcome and embrace it?
Would you be bluntly honest in declaring that you did not harbour romantic feelings while you were married to someone else and raising your children?
I was.
While sharing stories of parallel journeys and losses, would you soak in the appeal of those eyes, that voice and those small town mannerisms?
I did.
Would you be flattered to learn that your old love purchased, read and enjoyed a copy of your novel?
I was!
With a lifetime of stories to share and possible outcomes to anticipate, wouldn’t this make for a beautiful romance novel, a great example of Turning Life into Fiction?
It almost did – until he teased me about being a cat lady ;-^
Cats have nine lives. Old loves may be blessed with one more chance.
I just might be embellishing facts through creative non-fiction. Do you have sentimental love stories you wish to share?
Thanks for dropping by, not judging the cat lady nor disturbing the tabby.
May you find love in all the right places and before it’s too late.

Blessings, Theresa!
Thank you, Margaret!
Sweet! I hope to hear more. Cat ladies are good people in my opinion.
Thanks, Marg!
