Writer’s Block, whiskers included

We had enjoyed a lovely, quiet yet wet Christmas weekend with immediate family cramped into le petit apartment.

When I finally had some “me time”, I reclined in my usual upholstered nest to catch up on writing in my journals, recording my health status and recalling the holiday visit from independent offspring.  One cat joined me, as usual to snuggle and obtain chin scratches. Since I was busy with recording events of the past few days, I did not give him sufficient attention. He soon corrected that!

As with my many blogs, I have journals that serve different purposes:

  • Wellness log – used to track medical appointments, aches, pains, concerns, and gradual improvements;
  • Journal of the mundane – where I write daily or monthly updates, mostly about family, current events, concerns, joys, and my deep thoughts on life;
  • Jot journals – where I jot down observations, poetry, ideas, thoughts on life, hopes and dreams. They’re small enough to fit in one’s pocket or purse when out and about.

How about you?

Thanks for dropping by. I am flattered and impressed considering the amount of snow we  received in Ottawa last night and today.

If you feel like curling up with a rare gem of Canadian Fiction (and the warm glow of your e-reader),  download a copy of my novel. 🙂
