So we’re more than half-way through December and still surviving.
Rejoice!
The lights are up. The wee tree is up too. We have pulled out warm boots and mittens. We are baking cookies and stocking up on provisions for the yule time feasts.
Snow? We are getting sufficient in the Ottawa Valley.
The Daylight Lamp is a frequent companion, offering artificial daylight to improve the morning mood. I still had to layer up for the chilly commute in to the day job.
I recently caught Mr. Snuggles in the act of chewing on the artificial tree.
I feel gratitude for being gainfully employed, being close to, connected with family and friends. I feel fortunate for having the means to donate to charities that matter to me, having time and energy to volunteer for causes close to my heart.
As for Christmas and the holiday season… to me it’s a time of celebration with family and friends, a time of reflection, a time of joy for the arrival of any child into our crazy, beautiful world.
Writing? Well, recent activities include work-related wiki pages and instructional documents, personal travel for bittersweet reunions, a family funeral and suggesting Muskoka as a travel destination.
But you likely came here for the cat pictures so here’s another.
Thanks for dropping by – and not disturbing the Tabby.
Have a Merry, purr-y Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you and I loved the cat pictures!
Thank you, Paul. Same to you!

Theresa, I love your kitty stories. The expressions are priceless. I thought you left for work already? I can just see pets, dogs or cats getting up to no good when owners are absent. Take care.
Thanks for dropping by, Susan!
